The brief was for a four-bedroomed house with a study, utility, and storage. The master bedroom, living accommodation and study have been placed on the first floor to take advantage of the spectacular views over the bay, with the remaining sleeping accommodation on the level below. Each level engages directly with its surroundings through expansive vistas and an outdoor deck. Given its south-facing orientation, the living spaces are filled with light throughout the day, while the pitched roofs emphasise the interior volume.
